Ethereality was a bespoke installation

created as a response to the space

left between two other installations

Symbolic representation

of the elements

(earth water fire air wind)

the reflective surface of the water

mirrors that of the installation

at the front

The large white balloon oscillates

at around 8m high above the surface

balancing the 100 small downwards pendulums of the installation behind
